I am Laurie Meinert and I’m excited to begin working at Round Rock Presbyterian!
Church as the Director of Church Life ! Before moving to Round Rock, I worked at several PCUSA churches, most recently at New Hope Presbyterian Church in St. Charles, Missouri for almost fifteen years. At New Hope, I was the Office Manager and the Children and Youth Coordinator. I worked weekly with children and youth during Sunday school and Worship Feast. I also implemented a fellowship program for children that met monthly, and helped coordinate and design activities for the weekly Youth Group meetings and the monthly fellowship activities in which the youth participated. I was born and raised outside of St. Louis, Missouri and moved to Round Rock, Texas with my husband, Chris. Chris and I share three children, Nikki, Al and Christopher; and three fur babies, Izzy, Cooper and Jazmyn. I have always had a passion for working with children, helping them learn and grow in their faith, and teaching them about what an amazing God we serve! I enjoy outside activities, including hiking, horseback riding, swimming and canoeing. I also love any kind of puzzle, crafting and making things from scratch. And on rainy days, I love settling down with a good book. I am so blessed to be joining Round Rock Presbyterian’s congregation and I’m very excited to get to know the members, youth and children!
