Mission:
To carry out a community-wide mission of serving human needs in Round Rock and surrounding areas. They focus on providing a "helping hand" to neighbors in crisis through food, financial aid, and clothing.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Food Pantry: Sorting and distributing food to families.
Thrift Store: Organizing, pricing, and selling donated clothing and furniture.
Community Garden: Assisting with the growth and maintenance of fresh produce.

To combat childhood illiteracy with the specific goal of having every child reading by the end of 3rd grade.

Literacy Partners: Our RRPC volunteers commit 30 minutes a week to read one-on-one with students.

Medical Pros: Volunteer doctors, dentists, NPs, PAs, and nurses are highly needed to provide clinical care.
Support Services: Interpreters and general clinic volunteers to assist with flow and organization.
Mobile FARMacia: Sacred Heart Clinic was able to secure an opportunity for their patients through the Capital Area Food Bank, a mobile FARMacia that delivers food to the clinic. Patients are able to obtain free fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, cheeses, nuts, and juices.

Truck Ministry: Volunteers from RRPC are part of a team that provides food and clothing to our homeless and working-poor neighbors in Austin on the first Sunday of each month. The team gathers at First United Methodist Church in downtown Austin, prepares sandwiches and loads the food truck, then delivers to folks in the designated areas of need.
